Indigenous Activist Rally Outside Of Army Corps Of Engineers
Employees of the Army Corps of Engineers collect petitions outside of their headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C. with over 2 million signatures, demanding the end of the Line 3 Pipeline. The pipeline, runs from Harditsy, Alberta, CA to Superior, WI. This pipeline and others are responsible for the spilling of millions of gallons of oil in the United States in the last 20 years. Oil pipelines that crisscross Indigenous land have also poisoned water sources and fields of wild rice. (Photo by Zach Brien/NurPhoto)
