Farmers Protest In Toulouse

Farmers are protesting in Toulouse, France, on January 16, 2024, with their tractors, blocking the streets. They are demonstrating against the rise in water usage fees, taxes on biocides, and the application of the EGAlim law, while calling on the French government to cut bureaucratic obstacles. During the protest, farmers are pouring manure and waste at the entrance of buildings housing several agriculture-related agencies, including Ademe, the Adour-Garonne water agency, and the OFB.
