A classic Samsung Galaxy S8 (Model SM-G950F) in Midnight Black is showcased at the Samsung Electronics pavilion during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on March 5, 2026. This 2017 flagship features a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED ''Infinity Display'' and lacks the physical home button. The device is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9 Octa 8895 (or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835) processor, built on a 10nm FinFET process, and includes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It has a 12-megapixel ''Dual Pixel'' rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus. The exhibit highlights its security features, including the Iris Scanner and facial recognition, alongside the debut of the dedicated Bixby button and USB-C connectivity, which influenced the design of the latest Galaxy S26 series.
