The Artigas Gardens, Gaudi little-known Park Guell
The gazebo, the highest point of the Artigas Gardens, in La Pobla de Lillet, Spain, on April 27, 2026. Designed by Antoni Gaudi between 1905 and 1906, the gardens feature plant motifs, grottoes, stone sculptures, and symbols of the four Evangelists. These elements are also present in Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. The gardens remained largely unknown until Gaudi's authorship was confirmed in 1971. Currently, they are a major tourist attraction, coinciding with the Gaudi Year celebrations. (Photo by Joan Valls/Urbanandsport/NurPhoto)
