The Artigas Gardens, Gaudi little-known Park Guell

A fountain featuring an ox, symbolizing the evangelist Saint Luke, is seen in the Artigas Gardens in La Pobla de Lillet, Spain, on April 27, 2026. The gardens, designed by Antoni Gaudi between 1905 and 1906, are part of the Gaudi Year celebrations and have become a major tourist attraction. These gardens, which include plant motifs, grottoes, stone sculptures, and symbols of the four Evangelists, were largely unknown until Gaudi's authorship was confirmed in 1971.
