The Artigas Gardens, Gaudi little-known Park Guell
A caryatid of a woman presides over the arched bridge in the Artigas Gardens, designed by Antoni Gaudi, in La Pobla de Lillet, Spain, on April 27, 2026. Built between 1905 and 1906, these gardens are one of Gaudi's lesser-known works, featuring plant motifs, grottoes, stone sculptures, and symbols of the four Evangelists. The gardens gained recognition in 1971 when Gaudi's authorship was confirmed. They are now a major tourist attraction, coinciding with the Gaudi Year celebrations.
