The Artigas Gardens, Gaudi little-known Park Guell
Floral motifs blend into the natural surroundings at the Artigas Gardens in La Pobla de Lillet, Spain, on April 27, 2026. Designed by Antoni Gaudi between 1905 and 1906, these gardens feature many of the architect's signature symbols, such as plant motifs, grottoes, stone sculptures, and symbols of the four Evangelists. The gardens remained largely unknown until Gaudi's authorship was confirmed in 1971. Now, coinciding with the Gaudi Year celebrations, they have become a major tourist attraction in this small Catalan town. (Photo by Joan Valls/Urbanandsport/NurPhoto)
